According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, Giants wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard will likely return punts this week.
Kaelin Clay, New York’s normal returner, is OUT with an ankle injury, leaving Beckham Jr. and Shepard as their next best options.
Cody Latimer will continue to return kickoffs, so look for Beckham Jr. and Shepard to see their return snaps strictly on punts.
OBJ has 34 career punt returns, including one last week vs the Dallas Cowboys.
Shep hasn’t received one yet in his NFL career.
