According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, both Saquon Barkley (ankle) and Evan Engram (knee) have been ruled for Thursday’s game vs the New England Patriots.
The NY Giants will also be without Sterling Shepard (concussion), leaving them incredibly depleted heading into Week 6.
While the injuries to Barkley and Engram don’t seem too serious, as both were able to practice this week, they simply aren’t ready for a short week.
The Giants will rely on Jon Hilliman and Eli Penny in the run game.
While Rhett Ellison will become the go-to guy at tight end.
