NY Giants: Kerry Wynn ‘Biggest NFL Surprise’ By Pro Football Focus

When a player enters the league undrafted, it’s not always because they lack the potential of being a starting-caliber player.

Their poor draft status could have something to do with the school they came from or their size/ability or off-the-field concerns.

Giants defensive end Kerry Wynn was an undrafted pickup following the 2014 draft.

And even though he never popped and put together a full season of strong play, he did just enough in the eyes of the coaching staff to stick around.

Crazy enough, the fifth-year edge rusher is now the fifth-ranked player at his position this season, according to Pro Football Focus.
