According to Art Stapleton of The Record, NY Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard is expected to be out for an extended period of time.
Shepard showed signs of concussion-related symptoms this morning and he is currently in concussion protocol.
This is a huge loss for the Giants and their rookie quarterback Daniel Jones.
Shepard has become a favorite of Jones, hauling in 19 passes during the duos three-game stretch.
This is a reoccurring injury issue for Shepard, as he missed the team’s Week 2 matchup with the Buffalo Bills for the same reason.
