According to Benjamin Allbright, the NY Giants are “players” for veteran free agent running back C.J. Anderson.
Anderson had a tryout with the Houston Texans on Tuesday but he came away without a contract.
The Giants tried out veterans Zach Zenner, Benny Cunningham, and Fozzy Whittaker on Tuesday but none were signed.
They will be without running back Saquon Barkley for the next 4-8 weeks due to a high ankle sprain.
So, adding a third running back to go along with Wayne Gallman and Eli Penny would be ideal.
