According to an interview with ESPN’s Lisa Salters, Giants quarterback Eli Manning announced that he will play next season.

The 37-year-old Giants quarterback said prior to the 2017 season that he wanted to play another four seasons.

Considering the fact that he’s shown little sign of physical deterioration, you can understand why he’d want to continue to play.

The Giants can release the veteran and save $17 million in cap space this offseason.

General manager Dave Gettleman was in attendance for Oregon’s game against Utah this past week to watch quarterback Justin Herbert.
