Giants cornerback Eli Apple (groin) is “getting better” as he recovers from a groin injury, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.
Apple, who injured himself in a Week 2 matchup vs the Dallas Cowboys, did not play last week vs the Houston Texans.
In his place, B.W. Webb got the start.
The third-year player is currently Pro Football Focus’ 9th-best corner.
He missed practice on Wednesday but on Thursday he did get out there on a limited basis.
