I couldn't listen to all of Chris Christie's "audition" in the afternoon slot on WFAN this week -- the Montclair Communists were having a kogel mogel and chak-chak social both afternoons -- but I heard enough to know how he did.
And, if you're among the many New Jersey residents who were hoping he would soon vanish into the obscurity of some D.C. lobbying firm when his second term ends, I've got some bad news.
He did well. Really well.
Christie was combative at times, which is an important part of the gig and a side of his personality that, oddly enough, I thought was missing during many of his morning-show fill-in sessions.
