EAST RUTHERFORD -- Andrew Turzilli had an easy commute to his workout with the Giants on Sunday.
"Usually you have to fly out and stay in a hotel," said Turzilli, who signed with the Giants after the workout. "I just drove right up because it was easy."
Turzilli was living at home with his mother while waiting for an NFL team to call. The 6-foot-4, 195-pounder, who averaged 34.7 yards per catch at Rutgers in 2014 as a graduate transfer, had been a free agent since being waived by the Lions in May.
