NFL wide receiver free agency class becoming clearer for Giants

Some news came over the wire on Tuesday as it pertains to some of the top wide receivers in free agency.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will use their franchise tag on wide receiver Chris Godwin. So this is one less top-end receiver that the New York Giants will be able to target in free agency.

Then a report from Tom Peliserro of the NFL Network came out that the Detroit Lions will not tag Kenny Golladay and will instead let him become a free agent.

Now that we know that Golladay will hit the open market and Godwin won’t, we will have to wait and see whether or not the Chicago Bears keep Allen Robinson or also let him free.
