The NFL passed six new rule changes and one bylaw on Wednesday and one in particular is that they have expanded the numbers that certain positions to can use, thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs asking for the league to do so. Here they are:
- QB, P, K: 1–19
- DB: 1–49
- RB, FB, TE, HB, WR: 1–49 and 80-89
- OL: 50–79
- DL: 50–79 and 90–99
- LB: 1–59 and 90–99
