If the Giants' signings this offseason revealed anything, it is that they like the familiar.
Whether it's a player who previously was under general manager Dave Gettleman and offensive coordinator Mike Shula with the Panthers, under head coach Pat Shurmur with the Vikings, under defensive coordinator James Bettcher with the Cardinals or under a position coach, the Giants like to be in the know.
So don't expect that trend to change as regular-season rosters are finalized.
