Another key player from the defensive unit that carried the New York Giants to the playoffs in 2016 is apparently set to return to the fold. Linebacker Keenan Robinson is expected to re-sign with the Giants, news that was first reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Robinson, defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins were key defenders who could all be free agents. Robinson and Pierre-Paul are now back, with only Hankins remaining on the market. There was a report Monday that the Giants have had an offer on the table for Hankins since before free agency began, and that they are apparently pressing him for a decision.
