Hindsight is 20/20, but you don't need perfect vision to see a 6-foot-6, 320-pound specimen from a distance.

In his first few months at the helm, Giants general manager Dave Gettleman made a collection of moves warranting consideration for one of the best offseasons in the NFL. He addressed three positions on the roster overdue for an upgrade — left tackle, linebacker and running back — through free agency and/or the NFL Draft.

But one key piece is missing as the Giants enter the final week of the preseason with an eye on the waiver wire: A veteran right tackle to start or challenge starter Ereck Flowers.
