NFL free agency: Giants reportedly hosting DB Jason McCourty

The New York Giants are hosting veteran defensive back Jason McCourty on a free agent visit, per a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport says McCourty, who will turn 34 before next season, and the Giants are “exploring a possible move in the future.”

That would lead to the impression that a signing of McCourty by the Giants should not be expected in the next day or two. Perhaps the two sides will wait to see what happens in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Giants signed Adoree’ Jackson to a three-year contract to be their second starting cornerback, but could still use depth in the secondary.
