But he shouldn't dust off a place for the 2018 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award just yet.
Assuming his contract situation is settled — far from a guarantee — and he is on the field Sept. 9 when the Giants open the regular season against the Jaguars, Beckham will be among the favorites to win the award. He missed 12 games, including the final 11, due to a broken ankle last season.
