Not great news for the New York Giants heading into their Week 8 matchup with the Detroit Lions.
According to head coach Pat Shurmur, there’s a “strong possibility” that Sterling Shepard will miss this Sunday’s game. This, via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. Shepard has been in the concussion protocol since Monday, Oct. 7 after arriving at the team’s facility with concerning symptoms.
This is Shepard’s second tenure in the concussion protocol this year and could lead to his fourth missed game of the season. The veteran wideout previously missed the Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills due to the same injury.
