Another setback has occurred for the New York Giants receivers, which has become a theme ever since training camp.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, reserve wide receiver Russell Shepard is doubtful for Week 4 against the Washington Redskins. The veteran has been diagnosed with a foot sprain.
The #Giants continue to be short-handed at WR, this time as it relates to Russell Shepard. He was diagnosed with a foot sprain that puts his status for this week in doubt, source said. He’s also a special teams contributor.

Shepard spends a lot of time in a special teams role for New York as well.
