On Tuesday, the New York Giants and wide receiver Golden Tate were given the news that the NFL would be upholding his four-game suspension. The league initially suspended Tate in July for violating the league’s substance policy. Tate appealed, but that appeal was a failure.
A doctor originally prescribed Tate the fertility medication that includes clomiphene, the banned substance. The veteran wide receiver claims the same doctor has prescribed it to other NFL players. He now may end up pursuing legal action against him.
