Well, it’s the decision New York Giants fans have been dreading. On Tuesday, the NFL chose to uphold wide receiver Golden Tate‘s four-game suspension.
The league decided to suspend Tate in July for a violation of the substance policy. Tate released a statement via his Twitter account shortly after he was suspended.
I’m sure what he’s saying is true. And yes, it’s a tough situation. However, the league has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to things like this. Tate may have stopped the treatment process after he found out one of the ingredients was on the banned substance list, but he should be triple-checking the ingredients before even taking it once.
