According to Howard Balzer, the New York Giants worked out seven players this week, only one of them you'd probably know.
Devin Taylor, who the Giants had signed prior to the season and then released in the preseason, was the only name of note.
They also checked out three punters (Matt Darr, Austin Rehkow, Matt Wile), linebacker Trevor Bates, defensive end Darnell Leslie, and long snapper Anthony Kukwa.
The fact that they took a look at three punters, makes sense, considering how bad Brad Wing has been this season.
Wing is averaging 44.5 yards per punt (26th in the league), and he's netting 37.
