New York Giants will start Daniel Jones at QB on Sunday

Daniel Jones will start at quarterback on Sunday for the New York Giants, returning to the lineup after a two-game absence caused by a high ankle sprain. Coach Pat Shurmur made that official on Friday, saying Jones will replace Eli Manning vs. the Washington Redskins “barring anything crazy.”

Manning, of course, started the last two games and led the Giants to their first victory in 10 games last Sunday. Barring an injury, this means we have likely seen Manning play his final snaps for the Giants.

Jones started 10 straight games after replacing Manning in Week 3, with the Giants losing the last eight.
