My feelings on Sterling Shepard’s toughness have been well documented, as I’ve praised the now veteran receiver for always looking to play through pain; my opinion on Shepard shutting it down for the rest of the 2019 season seems to have finally been adapted by the New York Giants – and the media – now that Shepard exhibited more symptoms from his second concussion, after it appeared he was finally out of the woods.
As soon as Shep’ suffered that second concussion in such a short span – after doctor’s stunningly missed his first concussion and allowed him to finish out the Week One Dallas game – I thought the right move was to shut him down for the remainder of the year.
