At 2-9, the New York Giants have decided to make a change in their wide receiver room. The organization waived veteran wideout Bennie Fowler on Tuesday. This is the second time they’ve released Fowler this season. The Giants previously waived him on Oct. 1, only to re-sign him on Oct. 14.
Through eight games this season, Fowler caught 23 balls for 193 yards and zero touchdowns for Big Blue. His most productive game came in the Week 2 loss to the Bills, where he caught five balls on 10 targets for 51 yards.
