New York Giants Waive Darian Thompson With Injury Settlement

According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, the New York Giants have waived safety Darian Thompson with an injury settlement.

Thompson, who was waived-injured back in August, now puts the Giants in a situation where they don’t have to pay him on Injured Reserve.

He cleared waivers, so he’s available for any team to go ahead and sign.

His time with the Giants was certainly a disappointing one, mainly due to injuries, as he played in just two games as a rookie in 2016.
