A little over a week ago, Pro Football Focus proposed a trade involving the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns for left tackle Joe Thomas.
While their proposal was just an idea, Thomas has been a player Giants fans have wanted the team to acquire for years and someone Pro Football Talk mentioned as a possible midseason acquisition last season.
But according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the potential of the Giants dealing a high-end draft choice for Thomas is not something they’d consider.
Besides the fact that the Giants wouldn’t trade a pick as high as the second-round for Thomas, would it really make sense for the Browns to go through with the trade anyway?
