New York Giants: Tyrunn Walker Could Be Johnathan Hankins’ Replacement (Report)

In a Periscope video, ESPN’s Jordan Raanan told viewers to “keep an eye on” defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker, who is set to hit free agency this March after five seasons with both the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions.

He added that the Giants interest in Walker would come if they were unable to sign Johnathan Hankins to a long-term deal.

Over the last two seasons, Walker has posted Pro Football Focus grades below 50 with the Lions, but he averaged a grade of 77 in both 2013 and 2014 with the Saints.
