A significant portion of the New York Giants‘ struggles over the past few years can be attributed to their offensive front, and while GM Dave Gettleman has poured resources into its fixing, they have failed to make strides forward.
One of the more underrated factors regarding the development of the front five is the offensive line coach, and Hal Hunter, who was in charge of the Giants’ unit over the past two seasons, failed to build a cohesive group, landing in the bottom tier of the league.
According to Football Outsiders, the Giants’ line ranked 25th in the league, which doesn’t indicate any progression.
