The New York Giants released their 2017 training camp schedule this morning. It consists of 11 practices open to the public and opens on July 28. Players are reporting to camp one day in advance on July 27.
In addition, unlike old days, the team now holds training camp at their practice facility, the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. No longer do NFL teams sequester themselves on a college campus for the better part of July and August.
The G-Men ended years of “off-site” training camps in 2013, when they eschewed UAlbany for East Rutherford. According to the Albany Times-Union, the New York Giants did not rule out a return when they left in 2013.
