The New York Giants' safety situation is well known. For the second season in a row they appear prepared to let a trio -- or quartet, depending on Cooper Taylor's status with the team -- of young and inexperienced safeties battle it out for the starting job opposite Landon Collins.
But in an interesting note, safeties coach Dave Merritt acknowledged the possibility that the Giants were looking for safety help in the draft.
