New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman is a “film junkie” in his own words. That trait will undoubtedly be useful, as he tries to rebuild the franchise. While the natural inclination of fans remains to throw the bums out – that thought simply isn’t feasible or wise.
Gettleman knows that the current state of affairs came about due to one-part player procurement, and one-part poor coaching. That means there are several under-utilized players who may deserve a longer look than they were given under former head coach Ben McAdoo.
