According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, don’t expect any big trades from the New York Giants at the trade deadline next Tuesday.
There has been speculation about big-name veterans like Janoris Jenkins and Olivier Vernon potentially being moved at the deadline.

But that will likely not be the case.
Duggan adds that the Giants have just $1.7 million in cap space.
And because of the remaining prorated bonus money of those veteran players counts against this year’s cap, the team likely wouldn’t even have the room to make a deal involving a player like Vernon or Jenkins.
