According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, the Giants have “no interest” in adding quarterback Sam Bradford to their roster.
Due to the post-trade deadline rules, a vested veteran (four years of experience or more) is placed on waivers upon being released.
But considering a team would have to take on Bradford’s $20 million 2019 salary upon claiming him, it would seem virtually impossible for a team to go forward with a claim.
Thus, making it incredibly likely for him to hit the free agent market and be free for any team to sign him.
