The New York Giants put up a stinker on Sunday afternoon, losing to the Green Bay Packers by a score of 31-13. It was the team’s eighth straight defeat, as they’ve secured a third consecutive season with double-digit losses. They’re now 2-10 and at the bottom of the NFC East division.
But the loss to Green Bay did indeed have one special moment. At halftime, the organization provided an Army veteran with a service dog named “Honey.” The veteran is Raymond Lynch, and according to the Giants official Twitter account, he was on the waiting list for over a year.
