New York Giants: Sterling Shepard Returns To Practice

The second-year receiver, who works primarily out of the slot, missed last week’s victory over the Denver Broncos with an ankle injury. He would instantly become the top healthy receiver on the Giants, although he would still presumably work out of the slot, where he is most comfortable and most successful.

Sterling Shepard: I got to run some individual routes today at full speed…the ankle felt good overall.

Shepard has 22 receptions for 263 yards and one touchdown through five games so far, although he should be expected to see an increased workload considering the Giants have lost Odell Beckham Jr.
