The New York Giants could be returning their No. 1 wideout to the game field this Sunday. On Wednesday, veteran receiver Sterling Shepard was a full participant in practice. This means he’s near the end of the concussion protocol.
Shepard has been dealing with his current concussion since the team’s Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He was cleared at one point until symptoms then began to return.
Shepard has missed each of the team’s last five games and six in total. He sat for the Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills due to his initial trip to the protocol.
