Offensive lineman Tyre Phillips is returning to the New York Giants for the third time.
Phillips, who suffered a torn quad while playing for the Giants in a Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Rams last season, was only recently said to be fully healthy and looking for a team.
Phillips will reportedly sign with the Giants’ practice squad after working out for the team on Tuesday.
Phillips, a 6-foot-5, 330-pound 27-year-old, can play every offensive line position except center.
A third-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020, Phillips was signed by the Giants after the Ravens let him go prior to the start of the 2022 regular season.
