EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Giants, who began the free agency signing period upgrading the front and back of their defense, today bolstered the middle of the unit when they signed middle linebacker Keenan Robinson.
Robinson joins defensive end Olivier Vernon, defensive tackle Damon Harrison and cornerback Janoris Jenkins as additions to a Giants defense that struggled throughout the 2015 season.
The Giants had an opening at linebacker because Jon Beason recently retired, and Jasper Brinkley, who started nine games last season, is a free agent.
“I think this is the best fit for me,” Robinson said.
