According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the New York Giants have signed running back/fullback Elijhaa Penny.
Penny was on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.
Although he has transitioned to fullback, Penny has experience toting the rock, as he rushed for 124 yards on 31 carries for two touchdowns last season for the Cardinals.
Raanan adds that this move was made because of Shane Smith’s struggle at fullback Sunday night vs the Dallas Cowboys.
