New York Giants sign DE Jordan Williams to practice squad

When the New York Giants sent running back Orleans Darkwa to injured reserve and elevated safety Eric Pinkins, the team was left with an open slot on their practice squad. The Giants have since filled the opening by signing defensive end Jordan Williams.

In 2014, during his senior season at the University of Tennessee, Williams started all 13 games while recording 27 tackles, four tackles for a loss, two sacks, and four passes defensed. He went undrafted in 2015 and was originally signed by the New York Jets. Williams was waived by the Jets shortly after and went on to join the practice squad of the Miami Dolphins that same year.
