New York Giants: Should Alec Ogletree change positions?

In one of Dave Gettleman’s first- and landmark – moves as General Manager, he chose to bring in inside-linebacker Alec Ogletree (and his hefty contract). Gettleman surrendered meaningful draft capital (2018 fourth and sixth round draft-picks) to take on Ogletree’s 42 million-dollar deal.

Gettleman was betting that the former Georgia Bulldog star would be more like his 2016 second-team all-pro self than what he had shown himself to be in the rest of his career. So far, he has been wrong, very wrong. Despite picking off five passes (two of which he returned for touchdowns) in 2018, Ogletree was awful in his first year as a Giant.
