The New York Giants entered the 2017 NFL Draft with a need for improvement at running back. General manager Jerry Reese readily acknowledged that reality on Day 3, when he selected the newest member of Big Blue.
With the 140th overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Giants welcomed Wayne Gallman to New York.

Gallman is a running back who played college ball for the Clemson Tigers.
Gallman will have an opportunity to compete for playing time alongside Paul Perkins, Shane Vereen, and Shaun Draughn.
