The New York Giants have officially made their first move at the 2017 NFL Draft. After months of anticipation, general manager Jerry Reese sent Roger Goodell to the podium with an announcement that will shape New York’s future for years to come.
With the 23rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the New York Giants have selected Evan Engram of the Ole Miss Rebels.
That’s a massive selection that could result in New York experiencing both short-term and long-term success.
Engram is a tight end who played 41 games for Ole Miss. During that time, he recorded 162 receptions for 2,320 yards and 15 touchdowns, including the 65 receptions for 926 yards and eight touchdowns he recorded in 2016.
