The second-overall pick for the New York Giants is already winning big before taking his first snap in the NFL. Saquon Barkley led the entire NFL in jersey sales for the three-month period of March 1 – May 31. This according to statistics released Thursday by the NFL Players Association, and reported by Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Adamski reports that Barkley is first in jersey sales by a “wide margin.”
In the top-10 list for jersey sales for that period, Barkley happened to be the only rookie. He also was the only non-quarterback in the top-seven of jersey sales.
