For the last couple of seasons, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has been on and off the hot seat. He started the 2015 campaign there, got off of it after taking control of the weak NFC East, and now appears to have returned after dropping the division lead to the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
Had the Giants pulled off the win on Sunday, they would have taken a strong, two-game lead on the division while owning the tie-breaker against the Redskins. Instead, they fell to 5-6 on the season and now own a subpar 2-3 division record.
