According to ProFootballNetwork.com, Baylor Bears head coach Matt Rhule is the favorite to replace New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur.
Shurmur is expected to be fired after another disappointing season as the team’s head coach.
Rhule has been a hot name to replace Shurmur for over a month now.
Rumors swirled a few weeks ago that he was also “very interested” in becoming the Giants next head coach.
Prior to coaching Baylor, Rhule worked on the Giants staff back in 2012 as an offensive line coach.
