According to a report on NJ.com dated May 22, 2017, Odell Beckham, Jr. was a no-show for the New York Giants at their first Organized Team Activity (OTA) of the season. To be clear, attendance at OTAs is not mandated for players, but there are only 10 of these activities.
“It’s unclear why Beckham missed Monday’s session or if he plans to attend future OTAs. The next OTA is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday’s OTA is the first session open to the media.,” Dan Duggan wrote on May 22, 2017.
Duggan cited “a person familiar with the situation” as his source for story, since media was not invited to the Monday or Tuesday sessions.
