According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the New York Giants have promoted Rob Leonard from a defensive assistant to assistant defensive line coach.
Rob Leonard is taking over as Giants assistant defensive line coach, per source. He was their defensive assistant for the past four seasons.
Who is he? Well, according to his bio on Giants.com, he’s spent four seasons with the organization.
That’s just about it.
I couldn’t find his Pro Football Focus grade, so I’m not sure just how good he’s been at his job, but he must’ve been halfway decent – considering he was promoted.
