This week, Big Blue re-signed long snapper Zak DeOssie, wide receiver Bennie Fowler and defensive back Tony Lippett. These are under-the-radar signings for the New York Giants, but important to building a top-to-bottom depth chart.
Most fans are familiar with DeOssie, who is the second longest tenured member of the team, after quarterback Eli Manning. According to Pro Football Reference, he’s played in 188 games for the New York Giants. In fact, he’s played in every contest for the team since being drafted out of Brown University in 2007, with the exception of four games in 2015, when he missed time with a wrist injury.
