According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the New York Giants have released running back Rashad Jennings.
The Giants are also releasing starting RB Rashad Jennings, per sources. He was set to count over $3M vs salary cap and will save them $2.5M.

Jennings was signed as a free agent prior to the 2014 season by the Giants but failed to ever rush for over 900 yards in any season.
Towards the end of 2016, Jennings lost his starting gig to rookie Paul Perkins.
